Neither full bodied porky goodness nor overly peppery like so many found in Singapore. With a slight hint of sour mustard in the broth excites the taste buds. Ribs almost falling off the bones soft. Side dishes are pretty regular fare, nothing stands out particularly. Not bad.

I needed a quick lunch, and this restaurant was on the way back to the office. Ordered Bak Kut Teh with rice and waited about 15 minutes for it to be served, as the restaurant was about 80% filled on a Tuesday afternoon. However, the Bak Kut Teh was too peppery for my liking, and all I remembered after the meal was the overpowering pepperiness of the soup.

. 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗕𝗮𝗸 𝗞𝘂𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗵 - 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗻 • While strolling along Rangoon Road, I stumbled upon Legendary Bak Kut Teh. Intrigued by its reputation, I suggested we give it a try. • Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a wall adorned with photos of celebrities who have visited. The place exudes a nostalgic charm with its classic marble tables and wooden chairs. • We ordered their signature Legendary Bak Kut Teh, opting for a mix of short ribs, and also tried their Pig Liver Soup. • Their Bak Kut Teh follows the Teochew style, known for its peppery broth. As always, we requested a refill of the soup, although I personally prefer it to have an even stronger peppery kick.

This Legendary Bak Kut Teh is delicious. Peppery and herbs style, the soup is free flow, we had 4 times of soup added, very satisfied! The pork trotter is a highly recommend item to order. The meat and the skin were so flavourful, the spices of the braise sauce were truly filled in the meat, the texture of the meat braised till soft but not mash, the meat is still in its shape yet easy to eat. Nice!

BKT soup was peppery and taste was ok only for other dishes. Slightly pricey as compared to Ng Ah Sio which is located a short distance down the road.

My friend invited me to come over to give a try, but my friend told me that their standard was out that day. Especially the sesame oil chicken was too watery. 😂… for me it was just ok, not outstanding but a decent dish.

Bak kut teh has been a household name for good delicacy in singapore. Legendary has one of the best singapore style bak kut teh for decades. The soup has distinct flavour, with a lot of side dishes. The beancurd, tofu, vegetables, peanuts, those are good choices to accompany with the soup.

2nd visit here. Soup is nice. Staff is very automatic in adding your soup. Portion is just nice. However the vinegar pork trotter is alittle hard/over cooked. Everything else taste good.
